Urban Thread Siyazenzela was established in July 2019 as a section 21 company with our prime focus being poverty alleviation. Our communities are in crisis and can only be helped by someone who cares. For the sake of our communities Urban Thread Siyazenzela chooses to be that someone.
In the current economic climate characterised by high unemployment resulting in great poverty and need, it makes sense that job opportunities exist in the sector that works on alleviating the effects of poverty.
We believe that all successful NGO’s are run along business lines and require all the skills that any successful business needs. Wanting to make a contribution is important to many people, including youth. There is the added advantage of knowing you are making a difference.
Never before has so much money been available to assist those in need. Yet crime and unemployment continue to increase.
